Product Description & Reviews
NOVICA, in association with National Geographic, works together with talented artisan designers around the world to produce stunning, keepsake treasures. Our mantra is to spread global happiness, so rest assured - we’ll do everything we possibly can to ensure you’re a happy customer. About this item: Arriving at a stately peak, this celadon ceramic candleholder guards a world of floral magic ready to bloom with visions of light. Employing negative space, Kanda creates natural splendor using traditional gah sah lat technique for carving fruits and vegetables. A radiant composition makes this a beautiful touch for an intimate encounter. - Candle(s) not included About our Artist: Thailand's Kanda says, 'I became very interested in celadon as a result of my mother's large collection. She said each piece represented the wisdom of the ancient Thai people. I traveled to a celadon workshop to learn how to create these ceramics, and a craftsperson who was closing his workshop gave me his molds. A young sculptor, Mr. Prajuap, built the kiln and we now work together. We are also creating jobs for local craftspeople.'
